 Rod McAtee

Rod grew up in Geraldton and went to St Patrick’s College (now Nagle College).  He qualified as a CPA and went on to do post graduate work as a company secretary.

Rod has a background in business, accounting and the public service.  He is a Company Secretary and has been a member of the Chartered Secretaries of Australia since 1971.  He started work as an auditor before moving to the Treasury in Canberra, looking after budget documents and Committees. 

Returning to Perth, he worked in the Australian Taxation Office in the Sales Tax, Corporate Services and Superannuation areas.  He also spent time assisting with the America’s Cup in Fremantle.  In 2000, he went into business working in accounting, tourism and marketing, including the internet.

Rod has been the Secretary for Branch 34 Armadale since 2008 and he and his wife Moiya are active members of the Gosnells Parish. His interests include golf, gardening, music, reading  and travel.
