Austellarians are a group of women who are widows of Knights of the Southern Cross.  They meet once a month and participate in various functions and outings to provide companionship and support to each other.

A newsletter is produced from the State Office of the Order of Knights of the Southern Cross and circulated to all Austellarians notifying them of coming events and the locations of functions such as  luncheons, morning teas, gatherings to play cards, masses and special celebrations. 

Austellarians continue to receive the Knightlife publication and are periodically invited to attend various functions held by the Order of the Knights of the Southern Cross.
